These card covers are being submitted for Wanda's dtgd16cullenwr challenge.
My best friend entrusts me for all of her card needs and very rarely gives me a "theme". In this instance, I needed to incorporate Chicago sports teams for birthday cards intended for her son (and now other Chicago sports fans).
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Cricut Explore!!!! I used the print and cut feature for my logos. Popped them up for dimension. Although the cityscape stamp is not specific to Chicago, it represented enough of the beautiful elements of the Chicago skyline.
It's too bad I didn't take a photo of the inside (I designed and generated using Word) but it says:
"Wishing you a Pucking Ball on your birthday!" What's even better about it is I used those elements (hockey puck, baseball, basketball, football) as watermarks to emphasize the theme.
May I say, she asked for a dozen! Thank you Susie!!!

Great cards! Wonderful representations of Chicago's beloved teams. On the card on the left, it looks like the Navy Pier with the big ferriswheel. I like the team colors against the black/white background. Great job on both challenges. TFS
