I'm still playing around with my gelli plate and embossing folder . It's funny , I love the colours I used but I don't think I could recreate this one. Luckily I made a large sheet.
I seemed to be using my embossing folders with most of my gelli plates I think that's because they leave such a cool impression.
I have also found a paper called Terraskin http://www.terraskin.com/our-paper/what-terraskin. It's an environmentally friendly paper made of mineral powder of stone . The texture is strange if feels so soft and smooth. It's not a heavy card stock but more a thinner paper but is great for mixed media so I love the feel with acrylic paints.
hope you like the card

Gorgeous background made with your gelli plate. You have such great success with it. I wish it would rub off on me, but not so far. Anyways, love the shiny metallic look of your piece. Is the paper similar to Yupo with the smooth surface?? xx

I would have never thought to use an embossing folder in a gelli! I'm going to need to go to Canada and learn from you! You do the coolest techniques! That background is gorgeous in your choice of muted colors! Love this idea and love this card!
