This week Polly asked to use a Faux Gold Leaf look for the MIX 182 challenge. I am using desk scraps which includes a glossy panel that was die cut for So Sweet on a previous card, and a vellum butterfly that never materialized into anything, until today. I used the butterfly as my stencil template to sponge inks onto the glossy paper. I dabbed some Brushed Corduroy stain onto the butterfly and with a paintbrush I painted a little Inka Gold randomly. Using the paintbrush I splattered gold onto the paper, and painted the inside edges of the die cut words and also the edges of the panel. Attached the butterfly and pearl stickers.

Very pretty with that stenciled bg and your gold butterfly. I love those Inka gold rubs....they're great and so is your card! Thanks for playing along today Julie!
