I CASEd this card 100% from another card I saw on Splitcoaststampers: Pawprints on Your Heart by Doodledop at Splitcoaststampers. I even used the greeting (loved it that much), recreating it in Photoshop & printing it directly on my main panel. I used a lock charm with a small heart for the "keyhole." Originally, it was kind of a dirty gold, which I didn't like with this CAS card. So I tried painting it a brighter gold with Distress paint, but still didn't like it. I decided to try silver, but wanted to sand the gold paint off first. Turned out, I also sanded off the "dirt" from the original finish, leaving it a bright, pale gold! So I just glued it onto the card front with Perfect Paper Adhesive. I don't know if I like it as much as the heart charm in the card I CASEd, but I still think it fills the space nicely. Honestly, the most difficult part was getting the die cut ovals spaced correctly. I first die cut one from scrap cardstock. I adhered it in place on my panel with repositionable adhesive, fit the die over it, and ran it through my Grand Calibur machine. Just repeated that 3 more times. I did use a T-square to line things up properly. This will go to one of my cousins, whose dog recently died.
