I was having a lot of fun with glass bead glitter gel and was in need of more stencils so my friend Loretta loaned me a whole box of her stencils. Yay! Being from Iowa where wild roses bloom profusely, I have a love of roses so glittering up this stencil was a must. When using glass bead glitter gel, you need to die cut your image panel before using the gel. Die cut the oval, then placed stencil over the oval, sponged inks thru the stencil, allow to dry about 5 minutes, then with the stencil still in place, apply a thin layer of glass bead glitter gel using a pallet knife. Remove stencil and set aside to dry for several hours to overnight. Stamped the butterflies, then used Prisma Watercolor Pencils and gamsol to blend and fussy cut them out. Lightly sponged around image panel for some depth. Layered card with black die cut frame and embossed card front.
