This is for the Decorative Borders challenge. As I was laying out the patterned paper I wanted to use, I felt something was just a bit off. So I thought of this challenge and added a punched border to the bottom (haven't used my border punches in a few months, I think) and a thin Ivory border of patterned paper around the green. I think it really finished off the card. Thanks for the challenge!

Oh, Heidi, what a beautiful Christmas card, and I love the partridge. And what a great way to add the border at the bottom. And I too LOVE the little candy embellishments. They are really sweet! Hugs!

Lovely card! The partridge is unique which I love, and I the papers you chose have a wonderful vintage feel to them. The punched border at the bottom is lovely (and makes me realize maybe I should pull some punches out too). The peppermint candy embellies are the perfect finishing touch! ~Karen.
