Today's Ways to Use It challenge is "Decorative Borders"
I recently picked up the SU Swallowtail stamp at a discount. I've always liked cards I've seen that use it, but am intimidated by such large images. So decided to make myself use it for a trio of cards, each one with the stamp coloured with a different medium.
This one uses watercolour crayons - various colours scribbled on the stamp and then spritzed with water and stamped on watercolour paper.
For the Ways to Use It challenge, I die cut a Spellbinders decorative border that works with the Nesties label. I used a copper shimmer cardbase (cut to a slightly odd size to fit the decorative border which isn't quite A2). I die cut a matching copper sentiment and added some iridescent sequins.

Oh my goodness I love how this turned out. The colors are amazing. I have watercolor crayons and need to use them. I got them for Christmas and have yet to open them. Such a stunning image, one of my favorites. Thank you for creating such a darling card for the decorative borders challenge.

Love all the pretty colors on your big, ol' butterfly Susan! Just gorgeous! And that die cut frame is so pretty too. I have been wanting this stamp too, and I look forward to seeing your others with this stamp!

LOL, it IS a big image and I find I quite often only use part of it rather than end up with a bigger card and needing to make a bigger envelope. The metallic card base was a great choice to go with it, and I like the label shape inset into the decorative border.
