I didn't want to use the typical red when creating a heart, so I browsed my old SU DSP. I don't recall when it was released, but I found the SU Parisian Breeze Specialty DSP and recalled how much I loved it when it came out. I decided to use it for the Explosion Heart Card.
The colors for this DSP are Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip, and "Kraft". It's a heavy two-sided DSP, which was good for making the explosion heart. I designed my card around one of my sisters who is dealing with all the complications of ampullary cancer (very rare cancer) and related treatments. I wanted her to know that she means the world to me; thus, I used the "world" die on the front and the "You mean the world to me" sentiment on the inside.

This is indeed a very special card for your sister. She will definitely feel the love with this card, Bev. It looks lovely from the inside too. so glad you decided to go with something other than red. I love to expect the unexpected. I wish your sister the very best. Hopefully, she's got the best drs in her area and will soon recover to resume enjoying her life. Beautiful card, Bev.

Precious isn't a word I often use, but it's all I can come up with for this sweet, meaningful card. I'm sorry that your sister is traveling this road just now.

Oh, Bev, I am so sorry that your sister is battle cancer - and a rare one at that. She will certainly know that you mean to world to her, and what a soft and tender card this is. It really shows your heart, dear friend! Praying for you both, because you are on this journey with her and are praying for and encouraging her. Tender hugs!
