You are viewing my card for Letter Y - Week 25 of the Alphabet Challenge here on SCS.
Our cards this week are dedicated to all those who need to be uplifted and also to Dani – our hostess who has taken us through the alphabet with just one more letter to go! Special thanks to Ann for posting the challenge while Dani was not feeling well. I thought a sunny yellow Hello with flowers would be cheerful. Each flower center has one letter in the word Hello. I like how the stamp uses different fonts for each letter.
I colored the stamp with markers. The scallop yellow die-cut came from a SCS friend and I’ve been holding on to it because I have just the one. However, it worked so well for using “yellow” for Letter Y, I just had to use it.
All you need is one thing that starts with the letter to qualify for the challenge – it’s as easy as A, B, C….
Yet, if you are yearning for more, you can do the Double Challenge of the week. (Not required – just for fun) The Double Challenges for Letter Y – Use a word with Letter Y at the beginning or ending with extra points if there’s a Y in the middle of the word. Even more points for yellow as the main color.
The card reads “Hello You – happy joyful birthday”. That’s one word that starts with Y, two words that end with Y and even one that has a Y in the middle. I have yellow in the paper, ribbon and ink. That’s a lot of virtual points!
WeÂ’re almost done with the alphabet and will start a new round very soon. We had the letters in order for this round, but next time they will be mixed up. That will be stamping fun. You can join in anytime.
Thanks for looking at my card. Have a sunny and cheerful day!

Very cheerful and uplifting. Thank you Diane. Your card made me smile. My first thought was wouldn't the way you have hello done up make a great postage stamp? I love using cheerful stamps if I can....and this would make a great one. Nice job!!! Both on the card and on cheering me up. Thank you!!!!
