I stenciled the background strip using drywall tape and Distress ink. The flowers were stamped on a leftover piece of cardstock that I had marbled, heat embossed with white and then I fussy cut them out. I added some die cut flowers behind the cluster of flowers for interest.
I kept the same basic layout but changed the colour scheme, stenciled the side panel instead of adding a die cut one and left off the embossed main panel.
thanks for looking,

What a beautiful card, Karen! The stenciling in that gorgeous shade of blue reminds me of gingham! Beautiful flowers cut from your marbled paper in the darker blue shades. This goes straight into my faves!

The detail on this card just keeps me looking and looking--wow!!! Your white lattice in the background is so stunning, love how it has some movement in how it sits, nice. Gorgeous, gorgeous, GORGEOUS!!! Your cool blue flowers are something I need to investigate, I love creating flowers that are a little abstract, these are FANTASTIC!!! And the delicate white florals/leaves are the perfect balance, I am WILDLY IMPRESSED and will be saving this in my favorites and will come back and look in more detail later.
You create the most stunning cards, what a pleasure to see this!!! I am in awe of your artistic talent, WOW!!!

Fabulous, Karen! I used to use drywall mesh as a stencil all the time but haven't in a while. It makes such a wonderful bg & your flowers are beautiful.

You case'd the card that was my reserve! I love your marbled flowers, how beautifully you embossed and fussy cut them. A wonderful case in Rita's honour.

Karen, this is absolutely gorgeous! Those flowers are to die for! The die cut behind DOES add interest to the card! Well done! Thanks for the comment in the forum and for making a card for my 'Featured Stamper' week! tfs
