A card for the alphabet challenge for the letter X, which was a double challenge to not only use the letter X, but also a crossroad. My X is the crossing sign and the crossroad is the crossing of the two tracks, rather subtle, with a short piece of track at the lower left. I decided todig out my rusty brayering skills and I certainly need to practise more! This is a sunset scene. I used several SU and Ranger distress inks for the brayering. I also added a die cut hill with silhouette trees. The train was stamped once in black and once in red and the wheels were cut off the red engine and the rest was glued to the train. I also heat embossed the cowcatcher in silver. The railway crossing sign was also heat embossed in silver and the lights were done in red ep. The train was mounted on dimensionals. This card will be for one of my grandsons who love trains.

Thanks for the info on the NYS meet up. I think I'm really going to try harder to get to this one. We'll meet in the Fall. Love this darling scene. It's amazing how you had all the right dies to come up with the dbl X challenge. I think your brayering is lovely. The whole card is lovely, Ina.
