I made this for the 600th sketch challenge which required us to go back and choose another sketch. I chose sketch 501. This sketch basically had 3 circle elements in the bottom left corner of a square card. I made my circles into shells and put them on the right side instead. They also ended up spreading across the card. Oh well. I added a bunch of sequins to represent bunches of broken tiny shells. I sponged around the edges in a gingerbread brown color ink. The shells were cut from wild card cricut cart. using that plastic cutting dies come in. I went over the shells using Tim Holtz alcohol inks. I used browns, orange, copper, gold, and on the biggest shell I used pearl. I colored with spectrum noir alcohol markers on the backsides of the shells. Then I put them on yellow cs and fussy cut them out.
Great challenge today! I actually had several other sketches I was going to do, but ...lack of time.
Thanks for taking a peek!
