Sadly, this week's color challenge brings closure to my being a guest designer these past 4 weeks. Mary, thank you for the kind invitation to join your team of wonderfully creative and artistic designers. I think the CC team is great with communications and support. Thank you to everyone on the team for making me feel right at home this month.
Barbara, brought some beautiful colors to the challenge today: elegant eggplant, rose red and island indigo. I will admit the only closely related color I had was rose red. With the other 2, I tried to come as close as I could. Unfortunately, although the elegant eggplant is gorgeous, I didn't have anything in this color family.
Come, join us in Barbara's color challenge. I know the gallery will be filled to the brim with extraordinary cards.

Anne, this is SO beautifully colored! Love the D Morgan stamp and haven't seen anyone do it as beautifully as this is done! It's perfectly matted too! You are after my own heart using pencil and watercolor together! Just gorgeous!

Anne, it's been a delight to see your work as our inspiration for the last 3 weeks. Love your style and love how you make use of these colors in such complementary fashion and your eye on great detail.

I love how your card turned out, so I read the description to see how you achieved those lovely colors. The pencil part was fine, but then I saw the "W" word ... watercolor. One medium I just can't get to work. You did such a terrific job making this beautiful scene. I love the layout and the sentiment. My first card for this week's favs.
