Made this background last weekend, so it was freshly added to my stash. It is an aluminum foil base with waxed deli paper on top--then sprayed with home mixed ink and Pearl Ex sprays.
This background is done the same way, but use foil (slightly crumpled) and mounted to card stock for first layer. Then use deli paper (waxed on one side), slightly crumpled and mounted to the foil--waxed side down.
Then spray with ink sprays/spritzers such as Tim Holtz Adirondack Color Sprays....or make your own. The ones I used, were made by a friend. He added pearl ex into his, so you would get some mica shine. Let dry (it takes awhile.) Then decorate as you wish. This one started with a Black StazOn pad rubbed lightly over the top of the colored background to emphasize the wrinkles in the paper.
