Still playing around with water colours and silhouette stamps.
First of all I made the background in the challenge colours and spritzed it with a little water and let it dry. I then placed the card in my Misti and stamped the photo image of the windmill a number of times to get a nice dark image. Thought the windmill looked a bit lonely all by its self so I added a gum tree on the side.
The colours for the challenge were a beautiful combination and I thought they were just right to depict a storm on the horizon.
Hope you enjoy.

I love your water colored bg. I so remember skys this color when living in CA. Many times there would this beautiful pink mixed in with dusk colors. Using a windmill and tree is so perfect for your card.

Love your silhouetted windmill Helen! I remember those from my summer's at my grandparent's farm. That sky is so ominous and beautiful at the same time. Wouldn't mind some storm clouds this way. It is very dry. Gorgeous card!
