Hello stamping friends. I have a beaded bracelet to share with you today. Although I enjoy stamping very much, like many of you here at SplitCoastStampers, I also enjoy other crafts as well. I have a lot of beads in my stash and have incorporated seed beads in some of my past paper crafts as well. Perhaps you have some small beads in your stash too and would like to try a new technique.
I used size 11/0 Miyuki Seed Beads for this project. This design works well with size 8/0 seed beads also. I think it is important in this case to use good quality beads of equal size and shape so as to insure the integrity of the herringbone pattern. Please keep in mind that I am not an expert beader by any means, but I was able to follow a video tutorial with no problem. Kudos to Christina at CSL Designs for her excellent video tutorials on YouTube. Her teaching style is very clear and easy to follow. I have learned a great deal from watching her how-to videos. Thank you, Christina, for your dedication in providing top-notch educational videos of every type of beading technique – in addition to Kumihimo and wire weaving as well. If you are interested in giving this bracelet a try or would just like to see how it is made, here is a link to the tutorial:
Thank you for stopping by my gallery today.
Your comments are always very much appreciated.
