I always tell my kiddos "fine line..." and they know exactly what I mean when I say it. I'm feeling pretty stoked about participating in FOUR out of FOUR creative challenges BUT... I have to check myself because... there's a "fine line" between feeling good about ourselves and sinful pride. HA! Seriously though... I know better than anyone how difficult it can be to take time for ourselves or to take a little time to be creative. That's the #1 thing I hear the most from peeps who "wished" they could be creative: "I just don't have time." Here's a couple helpful tips for that creative desire to work with a busy schedule... 1. USE WHAT YA GOT. Don't worry with searching for something if it takes longer than 60 seconds to find. Use what's right in front of you. 2. DON'T MAKE A MASTERPIECE. Set your expectations low (giggle) and you'll end up discovering most masterpieces are the simple things in life (even when it comes to art.) And 3. GO CAS... Clean And Simple, baby! Forget the fluff and stuff! Just create! CED... Create Every Day!!!

Sounds like you have the joy of creating & participating - not pride. Creative card. I like the scored marks coming from the lighthouse. Clever idea. Nice use of the colors. Love that this is happy & cheerful, and bonus - easy to mail. Wonderful advice - thank you for sharing your thoughts. Let's get creating! CED TFS
