For the teapotters challenge, this card is going out to Lonnell who loves lighthouses and boating!
Alpha challenge is the letter "V", and this surely has a beautiful "View".
And the TLC challenge to have a cloudy bg, which this one does but I used Copics to color and highlight the image!
I printed the image in light grey and then colored it with Copics. Used grays and blues for the sky with the touch of yellow ink for the light shinning out. Added 4 shades of blue to the ocean and then colored the rocks with browns and grays.
The trees were easier using 3 shades of greens, lighter to the bg. Kept the lighthouse mostly white but added soft grey to the top and sides so it would stand out against the stormy sky. TFL!!

Very awesome! Love the view. Fabulous coloring. Like Kathy, I thought it was a picture. Great job! You even made the sand darker where it would be wet from the waves. Amazing detail. I like the variance in the colors of the trees and in the water, too. Wonderful effect and it creates nice depth. Excellent card. TFS

WOW! Your coloring on this awesome scene is jaw dropping gorgeous! I, too, thought at first it was a photo! You have the touch for the ocean colors! Wish I could get my copics. I ordered a set of 36 about 6 months ago. Gave up after three months and cancelled my order; then ordered them again about a month ago. I am hoping the backorder situation so many companies are in gets solved soon. I really don't want to order individual markers, but I may have to soon! Any ideas where a girl can get ahold of a set? I ordered from Jerry's Artarama.
