This is my card for SC596 which is made most entirely from scraps and leftovers - my favorite way to design.
I started with gold cardstock, added two strips of dotted dp on the sides and then cut the rectangle and wondered what I could put in the center. Since I am cleaning in my craft room, I came upon a small box of printed photos taken off a CD I ordered years ago. I don't remember where the CD is, but am sure glad I printed some of them. It may not work in my computer now.
I picked this photo, fussy cut the oval and inked the edges. Next I brayered the already cut leftover butterfly - that didn't work on one of my more recent projects - with Ranger Distressed Fired Brick. The butterfly was cut from vintage music and glued onto cardstock to give it more body.
That's it and I sure do love it. I hope you do too.

Fabulous card using that vintage image, Carol! I also love the red butterfly. It's so fun to see what you do since you recycle! I need to learn to do that. I can't believe you fussy cut an oval!
