Despite my current major time crunch I ended up with two cards for Carla's debut challenge on the WTUI team! Check it out here: WT87 Trash to Treasure
This uses the kitchen towel which lined the pizza box I use for spraying in. Since it's sprayed with goodness knows what, and also has the first frame I made for Polly's debut MIX challenge, I've tagged it for that too.
Frame was cut from white card, painted with a couple of layers of acrylic paint and has chunky gold EP melted into it.
I coloured the poppies with pencils, layered them onto the kitchen towel and stuck the frame over. I added a few tiny little flowers cut with the SU Botanical Builder dies from another little scrap of the kitchen towel glued to cardstock, and added tiny red bling in the centre of each. I found an oddball square kraft base in my stash and used that, cutting a decorative border down the right edge and scoring it.
On this card my trash was the much-sprayed kitchen towel.

Sabrina, your recycled paper towel is a beautiful bg for those pretty, bright poppies. The scalloped papers frame it perfectly. Thank you for making a sample and for playing in my challenge!

Oh! Is this ever a striking card! I love poppies but for me, that background is what really grabbed my attention today! I think I have to start lining my spray box with paper towel and see what I come up with after awhile! The acrylic painted and splattered frame really sets this off perfectly and the kraft card base adds even more texture - straight into my faves : )

What a beautiful bg - it's striking and has wonderful texture. Your poppies are beautiful too, especially against the gorgeous bg. Great white frame around it.
