I was totally jonesing for this stamp set after I saw the adorable cards Melania Deasy made with it. I actually ordered it the same day just so I could copy her cards! I did change a few things on my card so it's not a total replica but the truck and guys are almost identical. Melania's cards inspire me so much - the soft colors, the well blended backgrounds...her cards are very well planned and thought out. I just love Melania's cards! Check out Melania's work here (absolute perfection) http://melaniadeasy.blogspot.com/sea...&max-results=7
Anyway, for this card I sponged a piece of Spectrum Noir USPW cardstock with distress inks for the background and adhered it onto a top folded piece of MFT Sweet Tooth CS for the card base. The images were stamped and cut from another piece of CS and colored with Copic markers. I made the ice cream truck window into a little shaker (a la' Melania) and popped up a few elements with foam tape. Instead of a happy birthday sentiment, like Melania used, i changed it to a general friend greeting and embossed it with gold embossing powder.

This makes me smile. I remember the Good Humor truck. Then it was carts and now we dont even have those. But we do have soft serve trucks all over the place. Given how small the Good Humor pops were getting anyway...
This is just adorable! I love the shaker element!
