Claudia (Clodhopper 905) uploaded some beautiful tri-shutter cards recently, and while this is a fold I have always struggled with, I was encouraged by her cards to try again. Here's a link to the tutorial she used, which she had found linked on a card here on SCS: Crafty Frugalista's Tri-Shutter.
I knew DH was giving me the full new release from Purple Onion as an anniversary present (and I had trimmed them and added TIOO so they were all ready to go when he gave them to me ;-)), so I had the card base all ready to go.
I used some old BG Gypsy papers which I thought were in keeping with the whimsy of the stamps, and picked my colours from them when colouring the panels. Lots of masking. In hindsight I wish I'd coloured the mouse in greys and not browns, I'll know next time.
Stamps used: bench, arbour, bushes, wild flowers, Milly, Elliot and Honey.
