This is my card for SC595 - too many interruptions today. The colors are not as rich as IRL.
I used a black background and copied a dictionary page onto cardstock and cut it to size for the side strips, then added the center strip which is a scrap - maybe from a mat stack. I stamped the flowers four times and colored the ones on the text. They actually match the center flowers really well, so I don't know why my camera plays tricks.
The sentiment is computer generated and punched and edges are inked and it's glued on. Thanks for looking.

What an impact this has! Love your resourcefulness in creating your cards, Carol! This is fantastic, especially with the colored images over the text and leaving the others uncolored.

NICE SC card! Like the contrast of the newsprint with the "sparkly" paper. As well, clever to put the colored flowers on the newsprint and the outline image on the colored section. Looks cool!

This is so pretty my friend. I love these flowers and how the colored ones match your paper. How clever to copy the newsprint! Fabulous challenge card.
