Great sketch today! I've had this rose colored for a few months now and I decided it would be perfect for today's sketch. I colored with spectrum noir alcohol markers. The smaller rose to the left was originally hanging off a stem to the right, but I trimmed it off, and popped it at the bottom left to be the circle element of the sketch. The rose buds to the upper right is taking the place of those circle elements. I stamped the same rose in a really pale gray on the white panel and outlined in in pink and green pencils. I wanted them to have a softer look. I added the ribbon, designer paper, and all my layers and voila! it was done .
Thanks for taking a peek!

Beautiful card with your red roses, Geni. Lovely coloring and I like how you placed the smaller rose to follow the sketch's configuration. The faint rose stamping in the bg was a terrific idea.
