It's Tickle a Teapotter Tuesday! Today we give the love to each other. The story is about the wildfire in Fort McMurray, AB. This fire is still burning but no longer any danger to the city.
Base is real red layered with white cs. I sponged with distress inks rustic hinge, marigold, and grey for the smoke. Stamped bare trees with black momento and put the three figures on dimensionals after colouring with copics. During the worst of the fire the people were evacuating down the highway with the fire right at the edge of the road. TFL

Faith, great challenge and cute card. We've seen footage on the news and it's been so horrendous. Thank God it's under control and continued prayers for that community.

Those images are absolutely delightful - and your amazing background really does capture the devastation wrought by fire. We've driven through areas in Greece after fires, and this brings back the smell. Thanks for a great challenge, Faith, which reminds us about how important community and being there for each other is.
