This was an A4 size card, so that a large number of people could write goodbye on the inside. It was a challenge to make such a huge card.
Mask around watercolor card to create a framed edge. After stamping the roadway, sponged the sky and flicked water over it, then dabbed off quickly (hard to see in the photo). Once dry, sponge the background meadow & path with distress inks, stamp the trees & the dots for leaves repeatedly in various color inks to create an autumn/fall setting. Stamp the crocuses on the lower right corner and again on separate card, color and fussy cut and add to the picture. Dot Glossy accents to create water 'droplets'.
Die-cut and colour the birds (I made them to look like Australian lorikeets), leaves, word and banner with copics and arrange along the left side. Dot enamel accents all over the background.
Mat on dark blue cardstock to emphasise the frame, then on medium blue card.

Oh this is a masterpiece Cindy! This is what autumn looks like here in my part of town in Ohio. Everything about your card is just so gorgeous! Do you do video tutorials by any chance? I would love to see your sponging technique in action. I've tried many a time to create trees and meadow like this. But failed. Could use a lesson from you.
