This image from Purple Onion is one I had coloured when we were staying at my aunt's house a couple of weeks ago. I botched it this afternoon by trying to add flowers in the meadow - so instead of a landscape framed picture I had to trim it down and switch up to portrait format. It was stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with Inktense pencils.
To create the frame, I cut a piece of white card a little larger, cut the aperture, and embossed it with the Provocraft Textile Texture ef, one of my top 3 favourites. I added two coats of white acrylic paint, and sprinkled some chunky gold EP onto the second coat while it was still wet, then heated to melt the powder. Then I rubbed it with some metallic rub-ons, and added a little definition round the outer edge with a metallic pen and Stickles.
Chloe was stamped on thin watercolour paper, coloured with pencils, and is sitting on a little tuft of grass.

I don't see any inkling of anything that got botched - this is such an adorable image and a perfect way to just drop someone a note to let them know you were thinking of them! Love the embossed frame and the subtle touches of the metallic look - that bunny is just the sweetest ever!!

Sabrina this is ADORBS!!! I think your little Chloe looks quite fine on the frame part of the card sitting by her tuft of grass and tiny flower. So sweet! And the big tree looks so inviting....I would love to go sit under it right now..with a good book ;) LOVE the frame....you are my frame idol (didn't know that, did you?)..you do such interesting things to frame your cards . So nicely framed, Sabrina. I love that big ol' tree. Chloe is such a cutie and I bet she will be up in that tree soon.
