The inspiration card over at the Happy Little Stampers case the designer challenge this month was a card by Melissa that is black and white with a pop of color. I combined that inspiration with the CAS Challenge of inlaid die cutting. Note to self: When doing inlaid die cutting, pick less intricate dies! I very carefully saved every little black teeny tiny piece to put back into the positive image for this card. I kept the finishing touch pretty simple, stamping this Verve sentiment on a coral banner.
I also thought both the images and the sentiment fit for the Time Out Challenge, which is all about a quote - "May all your weeds be wild flowers." I'd be hard-pressed to name the species of these dies... but I think it fits. You can take Time Out over at http://timeoutchallenges.blogspot.fr/
And thanks to Melissa's suggestion, I'm also entering into another new-to-me challenge over at AAA Cards. Their theme is also inlaid dies! http://aaacards.blogspot.com/

Absolutely gorgeous inlaid die work. The intricate itty bitty pieces are a bit of a pain, but your patience really paid off. Love it. Thanks for linking up and playing along with us at AAA Cards.
Deliciously dramatic, MeganBeth ... with a wonderful touch of whimsy in those lovely blooms ... and a great pop of colour in the sentiment banner! Stylish and gorgeous! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Anita
