I made a frame around my image.
There so many stitches around it ...too many to count.
Some books are also stitched together...
I made this card for a boy who loves to read ...he is a real bookworm.
The image is cut by hand into several layers and made 3D.

Another great book image - it reminds me of the one you had with the bird with books tucked under its wing. And that is an amazing amount of stitching, and so beautiful. And thinking that you had to pierce it first - that's a lot of work.
