For my quilty/sewy card, IÂ’m using this cute, cute, cute little sewing machine, greeting, Log Cabin Quilt die & some papers from the Americana Quilt & Old Glory collections. Since the greeting is 1 line repeated 3 times, I had the idea to add 3 sewing machines in 3 colors but to get the best impression on this solid image, I stamped it w/ the Memento inks onto a semi-glossy photo type paper. It helped tremendously to have it in my Misti so I could stamp it more than once to get full coverage.
For the print version, I inked just the outline of it & stamped it onto the paper then stamped it again on the photo paper & paper pieced it. I will mention, after I fussy cut that tiny outline, I realized it would have been much easier to just fussy cut the inside & attach it over the the other image. Oh well..live & learn!
Thank so much for looking! Closeups & the inside are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Oh my goodness I love the log cabin die cut and the great sewing machines. My MIL is a quilter and I have made her a few quilt cards for her to give to her friends. I love finding more quilt related dies so I can make her more cards. This is just so perfect! Thank you for creating such a darling card for the In Stitches challenge. hugs!

What wonderful fun! I love those sewing machines, Julie. Especially the front one! My first one, when I was about 5 or 6, was a classic old black Singer, but my dad painted it with blue and white enamel paints and added little flowers. And oops, I've just remembered I never messaged you about that pop-up you mentioned...I'll be back after coffee .

I really like the saying, and I can see where it led you to three machines! Great quilt in the bg, and I love the RED/w/b colors!!!
