I'm late posting for Friday's Mix-Ability challenge - I got busy sorting and packing over the weekend instead... but while I was shuffling through things, I found a little stash of paper strips that I wasn't able to throw away at some point in the past... you know those stashes!
We were supposed to be inspired by wallpaper for the challenge, but we have dark wood paneling in our current residence, so I used that concept for this blocky paper strip background. I used a Spellbinders die to cut out the portion I needed after I adhered all these to a piece of label paper.
This card was mostly inspired by the Flap Fold Card tutorial, but when it came to finishing it, the flap was too stiff to be held by the button tab, so I just glued it to the flap instead. Stamps are from Impression Obsession, colored with a variety of pencils.
