Than you to Heather for a great tutorial for the Vintage Watercolor Technique. I was able to do it! I didn't believe it till I used it, but the black did turn kind of green on the leaves and stems. I did this as a thank you for the manager at our Michaels, because she fixed my ATG tape runner for me today! She is so sweet, and always is when I go in. This is also for Ina's S2S Challenge to make a card that celebrates our Moms. My mother was lovely and she had a green thumb. She could grow anything. She loved planting and then cutting them and having them in the house. My Mom was vintage! Love her and miss her! She loved my cards, too. When she passed, I found every card I ever made her.
Thanks for looking.

WOW, Sharon, this is spectacular! YOU tried a Heather T technique and succeed beautifully! What better color for stems and leaves than green. Love the vintage look you achieved. SO perfect in honor of your mom. Just WOW! Outstanding work.
Sorry, not getting notifications on your posts. Hate missing them and LOVE that I found this gem!

Sharon, this is beautiful, and you've done a wonderful job with Heather's vintage stamping technique! Stunning card, and what a precious gift to see that your mom kept every card you made for her! I miss my mom as well, and I know how hard it is at Mother's Day! Big hugs, sweet friend!

Beautiful card! Great job with this technique. I could so relate to a lot of what you said...My Mom loved vintage, and also had a green thumb (unlike me...smile) She also liked my cards, and saved everyone that I had given her.

Your card turned out beautifully with this technique. Love the soft burnished colors of your floral design and the text bg adds another layer of interest.
