I had eye surgery, so I've been away for a while. I wanted to make a card for Tonda's friend Polly who survived a horrible accident. My card didn't fit the Tea Pot challenge to include music but I wanted to case Tonda's card.
I used acetate at the top of the card to create the fold. Then I cut additional dies to hide the acetate. The image was colored with Copics. The roof originally had stars and the sample shows the house in Red and White making it very patriotic, so I changed it up a bit.

Well, just look at you, Gail! I've never known how cards like this are attached. Using acetate? Holy smokes, what an ingenious idea. Your coloring is so special and your image looks spectacular on your die cut card. Yikes!

Your song birds are beautiful. Thanks for thinking of Polly, she will love it. Polly likes everything, nature, garden, flowers, cats, trees, music, school, kids, cars, art, scripture, so your card is wonderful. I'm glad your eyes are better. It nice to have you back.

Oh, Gail, you are back! Yay! And your eyes must be doing well, because this is gorgeous and will surely brighten Polly's day! I love this beautiful image and wish that someone would pick up these wonderful Carolyn Shores Wright images again and make more stamps. I love them! Amazing coloring, as always, and I love how you've added the acetate to make the card stronger with this delicate die. Stunning, sweet friend! Big hugs! xoxo
