This is my card for CC582. Peggy is our hostess and she chose real red, sahara sand and cucumber crush for her color palette. Dessert is make it a picnic. Since we are a team that sticks together when I saw Peggy brought the picnic basket I decided to bring the strawberries to fill the basket (lol)!!!
I found this gingham paper in my stash that was already cut with the Martha Stewart "garden trellis" punch. A score for me! So I decided to create a strawberry vine climbing up the trellis. I layered the gingham paper over sahara sand cardstock.
I used the CottageCutz "strawberry die" and cut in both cucumber crush and real red. My sentiment is from the Stampin'-Up picture perfect set. The flourish is from The Paper Pumpkin kit "chalk it up to love" kit.
Well that's my sample for this week. I hope you can play along with our picnic color challenge. Can't wait to see what you will bring to the picnic. Check out the other DT samples for more inspiration.

I brought strawberries, too, Mary, but i also brought cherries and bright red apples. I hope someone brings a burger for me! Your card is so pretty with its cute gingham paper and the die-cut strawberries. Love that cute sentiment, too!

So pretty, Mary! Don't you love when you get to use a saved piece like your trellis die cut? It was perfect for adding the strawberry vine. Love that sentiment too!
