This is my first attempt at gelli plate printing, not what I was expecting but after adding some stamping and stenciling, I liked what I came up with.
By the way I'm not sure if you know but it's National Nurses week this week. I work with an awesome bunch of nurses in a Cancer Centre and to celebrate the Radiation therapists acknowledge their co-workers with a card, coffee and snacks. This is the card I made, it's a 6"X6" with extra pages for the staff to sign.
I hope everyone joins me in acknowledging the hard work done by Nurses, they're a great bunch of people who are compassionate and caring

If that's your first gelli, you are ready to teach it! What fantastic results, Christine! Love all the stamping and stenciling you added to this. SO much interest in this piece and a wonderful way to honor nurses!

Fabulous card and how wonderful that you honour your nurses with a card and treats during National Nurses' week. The gelli plate background looks great to me!

Stunning card, Christine. I don't know one thing about gelli plates, but i'm certain you'll be showing more of what they can do in the future. How kind and sweet to acknowledge the gifts nurses bring to the clinical field. Your card is beautiful in CAS design and with your intriguing background. Well done.

Love your first attempt at gelli printing. I love it - you can have so much fun - and no two prints are alike. Just all trial and error (lots of error) - he he. I join you in celebrating Nurses - they are so under appreciated by so many and work so hard.

Thanks for what you do! You have to be called by God to work in a cancer center - just like He calls up a preacher. I am thankful for them and for you! This is a lovely thank you card for the occasion and it is a wonderful occasion. I have been thinking about getting the stuff to do this but keep holding off. Hugz

What a wonderful card to celebrate Nurses Week. I love the background. Nurses are truly wonderful and compassionate people. What would we do without them? My daughter-in-law got a degree in accounting but decided her calling is to be a nurse and is now back in school.
