Hello, my friends!! Have you missed me? I sure have missed you!! Tuesday I got sick with flu-like symptoms and have been in bed most of the week. I won't catch up with the challenges for this week, but here's a card for the CC581 Color Challenge hosted by the lovely Karen Barber! Karen, your choice of colors is great!!!
To make this card, I used the Memory Box Reverse Butterfly Collage Die to make a stencil. Laying the stencil over a piece of Whisper White Card Stock, I sponged on the four colors of the challenge. I added a sequin per butterfly as adding sequins is “dessert” for the challenge.
After masking the image, I lightly covered a script background stamp with Soft Sky Ink and I stamped it over the masked image (if you look closely you can see the script). I then die cut three sets of flowers and leaves in the four colors and added them to the card. I added micro beads for the center of each flower.
Enjoy and TFL!! Thanking you in advance for leaving comments!!

Oh, so pretty! Love the sponging and masking. I do see the script in the background. Beautiful butterflies and flowers. The sequins are a nice touch. So sorry to hear that you were sick, and happy to know that you are well again. Welcome back! No time deadline, so not late at all. TFS

What a great idea to use all the colors on your butterflies Bev! It's so pretty and the subtle script looks really cool in the background. Glad you're feeling better...I was sick this week too and it sucks. But I'll be able to play more next week...hope you will, too.

What a lovely design Bev and a great idea to use the colours in your butterflies. Very pretty. Sorry to hear you have been down and out for a few days - blast that terrible flu!

The sponging of colour on your card is very pretty and the little flight of butterflies looks so delicate. No flu bug is going to keep us crafters down for long.

You have added some beautiful colors to these butterflies. I never can get my stenciling to look this good.

I hope you're feeling better! These butterflies are just lovely. And that soft background is the perfect touch of texture. What a great way to use the color challenge.
