After watching Dina's wonderful video tutorial on working with Watercolour Powders, I tried out the bleaching technique using a waterbrush filled with bleach. Love how it turned out.
I started by smooshing three colours of Brushos (lime green, lemon and turquoise) on hot press watercolour paper. Dried my card front (not completely dry) with my heat tool, stamped my floral sprig in archival black ink and then used the bleach brush over the flowers and leaves. Stamped a sentiment and the card was finished.
Tried using the same technique on some brusho backgrounds I had in my stash (I make up several at a time to have them on hand for making quick cards). It doesn't work as well with older backgrounds. The bleaching works best if the colour is new.
