Playing some more with Shirl's Color Bursts, this time after sprinkling them over a butterfly stencil to get a butterfly print (which is still in my stash of backgrounds), I took the stencil with the left over bursts and water and flipped it on top of a second piece of watercolour paper (stencil monoprint). Love how the colours flowed.
I decided to try a new-to-me technique of placing the stencil back over the dry background and using a fine tip black marker to trace through the stencil. Not my usual CAS style ... but happy how it turned out. Because the background was busy, I needed to have a dark banner in order for the sentiment to show up. It worked well.

This came out wonderfully, Loll. I was wondering how you did the butterflies. You come up with the best ideas! Lovely card. Hugz
