I tried coloring this little chick by mixing reinker into the water before I wet my paper, but it faded out so I had to add more color by using a fairly dry aquapainter so it didn't re-wet my paper casting. I did have some trouble with the layers coming apaprt when I cut out the feet. I repaired them bu just adding some tiny dots of multi glue and presssing them back together. I Cased The first card in Barbara's gallery for the Featured Stamper. I had been wanting to use this little chick and when I saw her card I just couldn't pass up the opportunity. Besides it is a very cute card she made.

Adding colour to the water - wasn't that a smart idea, Pat! Even if it needed a little extra help to strengthen it, I think that was a really inspired idea. And I bet in real life the texture of the chick really adds a lot. Love your sponged cloud strip, and red balloons are my favourite .

I love that card of Barbara's and it was on my mind when I created my card but I ended up going a different direction. Your paper casting turned out fabulous!!! Good job with the gluing!
