This is my first attempt at a side step card. They always looked so difficult to me. The hardest part was trying to line things up so all the attachments could be seen. I always try to make an extra special card for my daughter Jeanette, and I told her this was probably as fancy a card as she was ever going to get. For me, this is really tricked out!
I used a bunch of pieces from my scrap stash, some of which I've had for 4 or 5 years. By the way, Jeanette loved the card. The "happy birthday" and the little red bird are cut with my Silhouette Portrait, and I think someone gave me the tree.

You did a fabulous step card....and it's your first???.....doesn't look like it. It must be like selecting fabrics for a quilt.....each piece has to be lovely and yet tie in well with the rest to make a lovely whole. Your card does that.
