So, Sabrina challenged us to be inspired by an advertisement... ( so, while I was at work I typed in ad art on pinterest to get some kind of a clue...) and I stumbled across an converse sneaker ad and I loved it but, it was eh... then this morning I typed in converse ad's and seen a lot more. the one that inspired this is seen here: changes were I made the sneakers themselves from denim backed paper (because, I wanted to see if the die would cut it and it does) and I did change the words to be more birthday-ish than inspirational. And one of the ad's I had come across was for Denim Chucks
( **swoon** now on my wish list) and isn't great when you realize that hey, there just might be something in this empty-nester thing after all. I can buy new sneakers (for me) and not even have to wait till august... Sabrina, thanks for this challenge. & tfl.

Great take on the challenge and your inspiration ad, Stacy. I bet that the denim must feel great, so tactile. And I think I remember you saying that those aren't real eyelets, which I found hard to believe and still do, they look so realistic.
I hope you get your for-real denim Chucks soon!! Thanks for playing along this week.

They're not eyelets? What are they? Amazing!
Those are kickin'! (pun intended) So cool in denim too!
I remember those...it was a big deal when I got my new pair (we called yours pro-cons..the girls got pro-keds with thin blue double stripes across the toe box and along the sole and of course we wore low tops) in fall to go to school. They were...10 bucks?
