I should be tidying the house a little since we are having my MIL tomorrow; there are still little bits of thread all over the place from doing dress alterations for a colleague this week. But when I saw the IC was birds, and when, in the very first row of photos I saw THESE, which reminded me instantly of SU's A Happy Thing, I just had to make time to make a card.
Image stamped and coloured with Couleur d'Art pencils. Cut, sponged while in the die, sentiment added.
Base - scored about 1/2" all round from the edge. Added my small hexagons which are definitely mixed media though I don't know what they are - I suspect the blue is a Brusho Acrylic shimmer mist and it picked up nicely on the blue in the bird. I edged them with green pencils and then added Stickles and Liquid Pearls.
Manually embossed more hexagons across the bottom part of the card inside the frame. Added the bird panel, and then decided to add some white Enamel Accent dots to pick up on the Liquid Pearl flowers.

I love this image and how you framed it. Looks like your inspiration. And I like how you did the shapes for the Mix a biliary challenge. I might try these challenges today.

Well, I just knew this was right in your wheelhouse, Sabrina. Do you have any idea how many birds you have captured on your cameras? Nicely done...and housekeeping will wait...the creative muse needs this more.....
