 | | I coloured this image yesterday while DH was working at my desk - and thought I'd wait till this morning in case I could use it on a card for the MIX challenge. My nested shapes are pretty basic - I went with very simple matting of my rectangular image onto a rectangular base.
Image stamped on watercolour paper with Versafine Black, coloured with Inktense pencils. I added some Stickles highlights.
Background - I added a pale wash with the Inktense pencils, and then speckled it with a stamp from Timeless Textures. I was trying to add a hint of sunshine in the top, my pencils were too faint but I think I overdid it with the Stickles and Wild Honey.
I used a simple border die to frame down each side of the image panel. |
