This card is for two challenges, CAS372 which was to use chipboard, and TLC581 to use fancy piercing (no straight line around the edge of the card)
I don't own any store bought chipboard, so I dug up a pizza box and a Jello box for mine. The background is the pizza box turned over and brayered with SU Cherry Cobbler. Then I stamped the Great Impressions holly in black and colored the berries with a red copic. Didn't show up too much and an afterthought was maybe they needed gold embossing powder.
The ornament is die cut out of the the Jello box, pierced with lines I had drawn on the face of it and then gold embossed and popped up. I love how the background turned out. I hope you do too.

Carol, what a brilliant way to do piercing that is a little out of the ordinary. It reminds me of those pierced brass and silver ornaments. And the distressed look of the brayered pizza box is way cool! Makes me think of the old Basic Gray solid colours.

How clever this is, Carol and mostly done from recycled materials! Your brayered pizza box came out great and the glitter on the ornament looks fantastic.
