Wooden lattice and white china and/or pottery remind me of "Shabby Chic" as do soft colors. I admit my pink tulips aren't all that soft. : ) Usually I leave my watercolored images pretty plain on cards.....so this is a step beyond for me.

Your tulips are beautifully watercolored Sallie!! I love the way you have them flowing off the main panel. I also love the bit of soft pink you have on your pitcher as well as in your bg. Very pretty card!!

Those tulips are almost exactly like the ones I grew the first year I had my "own" garden - and are still probably my favourite colour just because of that. The way they are casting a hint of coloured shadow on the "surface" is the sort of detail that I would never think of. And having them out-of-the-box and onto the lattice ramps up the shabby chic factor.

So beautiful Sallie. Your tulips are just amazing. I'm always in awe of your watercoloring skills. I love the lattice background and the very light watercolors on the pitcher and the background.
