I wasn't going to share this however I reminded myself that even the best artist has a bad day. So this is my card for the Alphabet Challenge. This week we are on the letter K. We were given a double Challenge by Muscrat and that was to make it All About The Base. Well I was so worried about the double Challenge that I messed up the letter K Challenge. If you look I tried to turn the butterflies into K-ites. I think this card should qualify for the letter L L-ame. Lol TFL

Dani, this card is so pretty! And I have seen kites in all shapes and sizes, so it's not unreasonable to think there could be butterfly kites. I love the dry embossing on the watercolour background. Just beautiful.

Hey, kites that look like butterflies. It works and it is not lame. To be honest I thought mine was, but posted it anyways as, like you say we all have bad days. I like your pink colors on this. This also looks embossed. Is it?

Dani, you did great at concentrating on the base! I'd go fly a butterfly kite. Sounds like fun. The patterns and swirls all through your card do remind me of turning a kaleidoscope though, so change your "k" word to that if you want, but I'm loving your creativeness of adding strings to make kites.

That is so funny. I was looking at your card and admiring the awesome embossing and (is it sponged) background, and I was thinking "where is the k?, it is so pretty, but I don't see anything that starts with k"; then I read your description and noticed the "kite strings". Now is when you go back and add ribbon in place of the lines and voila awesomely gorgeous card!
