For Judy's TLC580 Hellos and Goodbyes - with my hopes that as Anne, Joan and Jenn all move on, they can find joy in the small things even when there may be big issues in life.
Monday is housework day here - and if I'm also working, that makes hard to find time to craft. But I got up earlier than usual and made a start on the housework - and in the afternoon I had time to make a CAS card that didn't even need one remake .
Stamped the sentiment first to help me position the spray of flowers. Stamped the flowers, and just used the circle and heart from Work of Art (and a pencil eraser) to add colour highlights. Stamped the bird and coloured him with pencils, then rubbed some luster rub-ons over him. And to finish, I didn't want to risk trying to spatter gold, and I was afraid of scorching the card if I used chunky EP, so I just added some tiny touches of gold Stickles.

Beautiful card Sabrina. I like the spots of color for the flowers and your stickle touches. Housework today here too, crafting will have to wait til this afternoon

This card is so perfect right now...it is as if you are here. Now that daylight savings is here it stays light pretty late, and if I am lucky like today, I still have a few moments in my yard after work. The hummingbirds come to my yard all year round and they are my fav things to watch. I was just enjoying them when I opened your gallery and saw this gorgeous card. Your coloring is even prettier than nature. What a great idea to stamp the sentiment first. Now that I got carried away by your card, I think I smell dinner burning...reality always has to barge in on fun time.
