The IC challenge was certainly out of my comfort zone as far as journaling with art. I drew on something familiar....Old Town Square, Praha(Prague). Its gorgeous and historic Astronomical Clock is the centerpiece. A World Heritage site.(Reason for the stamped clock face) Music is heard morning, noon, and night in this music-loving city. One of Mozart's favorites and where "Don Giovanni" premiered. I visited it twice in the 90's.
This could be turned into a card for my Aunt with whom I traveled or put in the pages of the photo album for those trips.

A beautiful card to spark wonderful memories. There is so much detail here to be studied and admired - I missed the wonderfully distressed edges the first time I looked. This beauty should be shared, Sallie - I'm sure your aunt would be thrilled to receive it!

This piece is so extraordinary! It's clear that your heart and soul were involved in creating it! There is so many elements that I had to go back and look many times! This is mixed media at it's best! You excel at any style you do, Sallie! What a wonderful narrative too!

This is beautiful Sallie - the design of the old city with the clock face, and the worn look of the edges along with the music in the background. If you send it to your Aunt, I truly think she would start to dance.

I don't even know where to begin with this artful card, Sallie! While it might have been out of your comfort zone, you mastered it with elements, taken apart, could make any number of the CAS cards that defines your art. I love the offset format, the bottom edge of the town, the 'capping' of the buildings with grey. The clock face echo's that clock tower and your mention of music every day, reminds me of European trips I have taken.
This is true work of the he{ART}.
