This is for Sabrina's Ways to Use it challenge today. All I can really say about the completely out of place pearl on an otherwise essentially organic card is that is looks way better than the splotch of glue underneath it.....haha!

LOL...an embellishment opportunity I'd say Jo! I think the beads and the twine are the perfect finishing touch for this very cool card! And I'm not lion...

Oh, those nasty glue splotches. But, the pearl worked magic and no one would have ever known. I do like your twine and beads. This looks like a really good guy card or an animal lover card.

A fab card, Jo, very masculine. Hey, the pearl solved your problem and it looks good too. I love the twine and beads and the bg is perfect for the lions!

Too funny about your pearl!....great save. ; ) Beautiful blending of your bg colors for the trio of growling lions, Jo. Like the look of the "African trading beads" on the twine too.

Oh, fun pun! And a great organic, ethnic feel with the twine and beads. Haven't we all been there with smudges or glue. My worst thing used to be misting a stamp with UltraClean and having that oily mist go just where I didn't want it. I think the beads help balance the pearl, so while it wasn't intended it doesn't actually look too out of place. Not to me, at any rate!

No such thing as a mistake in cardmaking -- just an opportunity. And you took that opportunity to add the pearl. I do like the beads on the twine below your lions. Super card!

Jo, those beads are gorgeous, and I would venture a guess that they indeed look better than the glue splotch! I laughed when I read your description! The lions in a row are great, and the twine and beads go so well with the images!
