K is for Key. This is my card for the Alphabet Challenge this week. The double part of the challenge was to focus on the base. When I mentioned this to my daughter Tara (my 18 year old) she said I should do a window card with the image coming though and that would really be about the base. I took her clever advice.
I used two Gina K. sets for this. A Year in Flowers for the roses and Timeless Treasures for the key and sentiment. I inked the outline of the roses and filled it in with pencils and used a blending stump on it.

Julia, the roses edging this card are so beautiful! the window idea is super........it really gives dimension and elegance to the card. Tara is one smart cookie!

This is keen! Love the klever idea to do a window card. The key image is really cute. Great card for letter K. Love the soft colors. It looks like you hold the key to creativity! TFS
